Inesse Superfoils 15: a hi-tech flying yacht

A 15-meter project which can rise on foils: Inesse Superfoils 15 comes from a highly technological district of Italy and promises a fast and smooth navigation.

In a quite bold statement, Inesse states that their goal is to renew the nautical sector, technologically stuck for decades, introducing a unique boat in the world. Although not unique, for sure the project SF15 features a high level of tech solutions. Born close to Bologna by a Company that has offices in London as well, the project comes by professionals hired from Formula 1 and America's Cup.

Lift me up

Placed under the hull of Inesse Superfoils 15 there's four flaps, two per side, which allow while running the lifting of the hull itself. Navigation on foils will grant higher safety and a fast pace, while lowering water drag and consumption and increasing the comfort as the hull doesn't smash on waves.

The yacht that wasn’t there: Foiler raises the bar…above the water

The wings can adjust independently, managed by a software, so that the set-up of the boat is always the best possible. This video simulation of SF15 in action explains better than words:
